I'm Heather Treit, and it's my goal to use my personal experiences, my education and my coaching expertise to teach you how to stop using food as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions, reduce your stress and anxiety, improve your body image, self esteem, self confidence, and self love. Any weight loss you achieve will have long term results because you will have a variety of tools to choose from to help you overcome any obstacles and fears that may have been holding you back from finding your own HAPPINESS!
Here's who I really am....
I am a health, nutrition and fitness coach who is completely addicted
to learning all the new and different strategies that will help my
clients overcome emotional eating so they can regulate their emotions,
regain food control and lose weight,love themselves and their lives.
I have always been in positions where I help people but in industries
that were negative and toxic environments. This had a huge impact on
my life and I realized I want to help empower my clients. I want to help
them find their true happiness. I want to help them discover the root
causes to why they use food to cope. I want to teach my clients tools and strategies to work through the obstacles and fears that trigger their
emotions and increase their anxiety and stress so they stop turning to
food to cope and start turning to other activities that will nourish them
in healthier ways.
This led me to becoming a certified health and nutrition coach through the Health Coach Institute and Precision
Nutrition. Since then I have attended numerous health, nutrition and fitness courses, webinars, conferences to
learn about different strategies that could help my clients.
My clients have described me being very relatable because I had suffered my own trauma and struggled with
anxiety, emotional stress and disregulation, extremely low self esteem and self hate. But I took it one step at a
time and rediscovered what I truly wanted from and in my life and learned many valuable strategies and tools to
help me reach my goals. Since that time I haven't looked back or stopped learning and I hope to help you on your journey.
Here are a few random facts about me...
*I met my husband of 18 years in a juvenile detention centre where we both worked so when
people asked how we met I tell them we met in jail!
*I broke both my wrists when I was a kid and had to wear casts on both arms for a whole
summer! The next summer I stepped on a ball while playing soccer baseball and rather then
putting out my arms to break my fall I did a face plant and broke my 2 front teeth....and I just
had my retainer removed! Needless to say I am a bit accident proned!
*I met Steven Tyler while vacationing in Hawaii with my family! Then years later I ran into
him at Disney's California Resort while on vacation with my husband!
*I have a T-Rex costume and have been known to put it on and shovel the snow on our driveway
in the wintertime.
